Sender Leipzig, starts broadcasting with 120 kW on 770 kHz. It is the most powerful transmitter at the time.
28: Germany - In Frankfurt a
new 17 kW transmitter went on air. The frequency was switched with
Leipzig, so Frankfurt now uses 1157 kHz.
