Information: Presented in 1978 by Randolph Quirk. It includes a simplification of vocabulary and syntax. One of Quirk's main suggestions was to replace the English tag questions as they seem to be quite difficult for foreign learners of English. For instance: She ate the apple, didn't she? would become She ate the apple, isn't that right?
