Macedonian is the youngest of the Slavic
languages. It was officially recognized as a language in
1944. Just as Bulgarian
there are practically no declensions in Macedonian. Also as Bulgarian but unlike other
Slavic languages, Macedonian puts the definite article behind the noun
(eg. ena woman, and enata
the woman). Macedonian has also been influenced by Turkish.
