Macedonian is the youngest of the Slavic languages. It was officially recognized as a language in 1944. Just as Bulgarian there are practically no declensions in Macedonian. Also as Bulgarian but unlike other Slavic languages, Macedonian puts the definite article behind the noun (eg. ena woman, and enata the woman). Macedonian has also been influenced by Turkish.
