Information: Bihari is actually the name of a group of three related languages: Bhoj Puri, Maithili and Magahi. Although there are 40 million speakers, Bihari is not recognized as an official language of India. Even in Bihar Hindi is being used in schools and for legal documents instead of Bihari.
