Geaographical use: northwest of the Caucasus (Russia), mostly around Stavropol and Karachay-Cherkessia

Information: The Abazinians (or Abazas) are indigenous to the Caucasus. After the Caucasus wars (19th century) some of them migrated to Turkey. Even though they were tried to get russified under Soviet rule, they have always maintained their proper culture and language.
